The Clearbuilt IT-DB MethodologyTM governs our approach to every client engagement and centers on four distinct stages--information, technology, design, and build. Each phase focuses on specific aspects of the client challenge and achieving defined milestones. Together, your team will work with senior consultants at each and every stage of the engagement. During the first phase, known as information, Clearbuilt's senior partners gather information and research client expectations, needs, and desired project outcomes. The information phase begins with an on-site, facilitated ClearVisionSM Workshop where the client and Clearbuilt team jointly scope and level set the project vision and direction. Next, Clearbuilt performs an assessment of the current state of the client's technology as it relates to the defined vision. At the end of the information phase, Clearbuilt delivers a ClearBaseSM document, summarizing the Vision and Assessment.
Known as technology, the second phase of any Clearbuilt engagement focuses on the specific technologies that will be used throughout the project, identifies and begins to solve integration issues (both human and technical), and lays out the functional specifications for the project. It is in the careful attention given to this phase that Clearbuilt succeeds where other teams might fail. The deliverable for this phase summarizes all of the findings and the functional specification and is called the ClearPathSM Report.
Next, we enter the design phase, where Clearbuilt's team delivers the specific design recommendations and full specification for the client project in a ClearDesignSM Specification. The ClearDesign Specification sets forth the solution architecture for the specific technologies that will be applied and/or built for the client's specific situation, presents the user interface design, and provides a clear roadmap to build the solution.
Because we have the ability to actually build custom solutions for our client, the ClearBuildSM deliverable is not only the final phase of the Clearbuilt IT-DB Methodology, it is perhaps the most exciting one. For many projects, we can build a complete, custom application from scratch. Our internal capabilities range from the development of a technical specification and custom application, beta and pilot testing, as well as implementation, training and maintenance. If a custom application is not required, we can also project manage the customization and implementation of any third-party solution during the build stage.
